Angela W. Burton.
“Caring for others was never just a career it was a calling.”
For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of serving individuals and families in the place where they feel safest and most comfortable their home.
While my title is Founder & Visionary, my heart has always belonged to caregiving. Long before iCherish existed, I was simply someone who believed every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect. Those values continue to guide every decision we make today.
Where It All Began
A journey that began at the bedside.
My journey into healthcare began in 2000 when I became a Certified Nursing Assistant. I began my career with a home care agency before moving into private home care, where I spent years providing one-on-one care for individuals in their homes.
Those years taught me lessons no textbook ever could. I learned that every family has a story. Every client has different needs. And exceptional care begins with listening.
Working in people’s homes allowed me to build relationships, earn trust, and witness firsthand how meaningful, consistent care can improve someone’s quality of life. Those experiences became the foundation upon which iCherish was built.
Why I Founded iCherish
Families deserved something
different.
As I cared for more families, I realized something. Too often, people felt like they were just another client. They saw different caregivers every week. They struggled to find consistency. They felt overwhelmed trying to navigate a medical crisis on their own.
I believed families deserved something different. I wanted to create a company where people were never treated as a number, where relationships mattered, and where families knew they had a team walking beside them. That vision became iCherish Home Care Services.
A Foundation of Service
The values that came before iCherish.
The values that guide iCherish were established long before I founded the company. My parents helped shape the woman I am today and instilled in me determination, compassion, strength, and perseverance. Although they have been gone for more than 20 years, their influence continues to guide the way I serve others. Today, I strive to honor that foundation while building a legacy of my own one rooted in faith, compassion, integrity, and a lifelong commitment to serving others through iCherish Home Care Services.

People often ask what “Care With Purpose” means. To me, it means that every visit, every conversation, every care plan, and every act of service is intentional. We care because we genuinely love serving others. We care with compassion. We care with empathy. We care with integrity. Every person deserves to feel valued, respected, and heard.
My Passion for Dementia Care
No family should walk this journey alone.
One of the greatest passions of my career has been serving individuals living with dementia and supporting the families who love them. Dementia affects more than memory. It affects entire families. That is why I pursued additional education, became a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and established our Dementia Caregiver Support Group. No family should ever have to walk this journey alone.
My Philosophy
Relationships. Consistency. Communication.
I believe people are never just a number. Relationships matter. Consistency matters. Communication matters. Integrity matters. Families deserve to feel supported not sold to. One of the things I tell families from the very beginning is: “I cannot fix something if I do not know about it.” Open, honest communication allows us to work together as one team.
Faith & Service
iCherish is a Christian-owned organization because my faith has always shaped the way I serve others. My goal has never been to convince others to believe as I do. My goal is simply to love people well, serve with humility, and treat every individual with compassion and respect.

When I think about the future of iCherish, I do not think only about the number of clients we serve. I think about the number of families whose lives were made a little easier because we were part of their journey.
